SR.N6 003 Mk.5 on high speed run in army service, the craft later went onto navy service before being used as a manufacturers demo craft and laid up.

Used by the Navy after 1975 and army prior, the craft went back to BHC as the manufacturers demo after .It was proposed as  a survey craft for  Belfatop having been bought by Hoverwork. They donated it , less engine to the museum in 1994 and was stored at their yard at St.Helens, then craned over the wall into nextdoor at Attrill's Boat Yard before floating to Aluminium Shipbuilders for several more years storage. By 2004 skirts had been fitted (unfortunately the wrong one - 7ft short...so patched up!) and hovered using air blowers into the sea. Towed across the 3 miles of Solent back to the mainland and into Daedalus site now disused by the Navy.

Blowers were used once again, as in the case of BH.7 in 1989, to haul the craft up the steep 1:10 slipway. Once parked up the craft was retrofitted with her original skirt found behind containers at the Aluminium Shipbuilders yard at Fishbourne. Later lifted on to jacks to begin restoration to future working condition
