This is SR.N6 009 the first SR.N6 on its first service in Scandinavia. The craft claims to fame was it was the worlds most intensely operated hovercraft ever for its first twenty years, in the 1960s and 1970s, running up to 1982.
The first SR.N6 ever manufactured from the SR.N5 production line. Scanhover paved the way for future Scandinavian operations where hovercraft come into their own flying over frozen sea.
